If in a normal dictionary you would find the definitions of words, in Billion Chords you will be able to hear how different chords sound. According to the program's creators, Billion Chords includes one billion different chords.
The user can choose different instruments to test how they sound, such as: classic guitars, electric guitars, pianos, etc.
Billion Chords also displays the finger position required for a chord in a diagram located at the bottom of the display. Billion Chords is also adapted for left-handed users.
